Gemma arterton
Gemma Christina Arterton was born in Gravesend, a Kent town, Greater London. Her most well-known work is for playing roles in films such as Quantum of Solace, The Disappearance of Alice Creed, and many more, including 'Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters. She was born at Gravesend near Greater London. After completing her studies in the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, she began her career through a part as supporting actress in the comedy "St Trinian's'. Then, she appeared in the spies thriller "James Bond" film "Quantum of Solace'. The film was commercially successful, but got mostly favorable reviews. Her next role was as an actress in the action fantasy film , 'Prince of Persiania: The Sands of Time'. She also played an important role on the French film "Orphan". Arterton was nominated to numerous prizes throughout her career. The award she won was her the "Empire Award for the Most Outstanding Newcomer" in the film "Quantum of Solitude" in addition to her "Evening Standard Theatre Award" for her performance in the musical'Made in Dagenham". The actress also took home the Glamour Awards for the Woman of the Years in 2011.
